FERRY RIDES AND WHIDBEY ISLAND. SUMMER IN SEATTLE.

While in Seattle we had to take Gavin on his first ferry ride and go back and visit one of our favorite places as newly weds, Whidbey Island.  As you can see Gavin was super excited to ride the ferry and started clapping when the boat began moving.  We enjoyed a lovely day with kayaking, beach combing, and Ivar's fish n' chips.

Outside on the deck of the ferry watching it come in to dock.

Fort Ebey Beach.

Lots of sticks and rocks for Gavin to collect.

At the top of a teeter-tooter in Deception Pass.

Curtis 'walking the plank' of this huge teeter-tooter.  The right side of the log was actually in the air when he started this.  Very tricky.

Enjoying the water after kayaking around Raspberry Lake.

The bridge over Deception Pass.
