HAPPY TRAILS--HIKING IN TOPANGA CANYON

Curtis has been able to navigate our BOB stroller over almost any terrain imaginable during our hikes here in the canyon.  On this particular hike, we had to cross this shallow stream about 10 or 12 times each way and Curtis did it without any trouble.  We soon coined the phrase 'extreme strollering'!!!
Since moving to Topanga Canyon we have been able to do a lot more hiking than we used to living in the city.  With Topanga State Park right outside our front door now, we have been going out on the trails several times weekly to soak up all the beautiful scenery.  Gavin has really gotten the hang of it and is now able to scamper up small boulders and logs.  We have actually stopped taking the stroller with us now and just let him hike alongside us because he can navigate over all those tree-roots and rocks without any help (well almost).  We are so grateful to be able to do these kind of things together as a family and to live in such a beautiful place.

A pretty spot for a picture.  They just both happen to be wearing orange and sitting in an orange stroller.

Catch him if you can!  Gavin hitting the trail running.
